We’re lucky to live in an area bursting with breweries, vineyards and cideries! Often referred to as the Crest of the Blue Ridge, there are incredible places to visit no matter which direction you turn. Whether you’re looking to sip on a crisp white wine overlooking the rolling hills or more interested in hanging out at a local brewery with live music, WNC has it all for you!

“The 2025 edition of Cider, Wine & Dine Weekend takes place May 2-4, when several local wineries and cideries partner for a signature weekend of cider, wine and food. Artisan hard cider and award-winning wines are showcased with a full schedule of tastings, tours, new releases, picnics, pairing dinners, live music, orchard hikes, vineyard yoga and more.”

Sierra Nevada Brewing Co.
Guided tours of the brewery are offered 7 days a week, reservations must be booked online (tours fill up quickly ). Self guided tours are also available (no reservation required). The Taproom and Restuarant are open 7 days a week. The farm to table food is as good as the breweries made there. And ,the gardens and music events and bocce ball courts are some of the popular attractions for a day outing here.

Saint Paul Mountain Vineyards
Saint Paul Mountain Vineyards is a family-owned operation located in the heart of Henderson County`s apple country. Nestled on 10 acres of a land grant from England are panoramic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains that the family has enjoyed for generation, and now would like to share with you. The 14 varieties of wine-grape vines grown on the vineyards at elevations of 2,300 and 3,000 feet, along with the cool nights, develop some the best wine-producing grapes in the country. Meticulously growing our fruit allows us to incorporate the unique character of our vineyards into each bottle. Bold Rock Hard Cider
Bold Rock Hard Cider is located in Mills River, just minutes to Hendersonville. The Mills River cidery uses apples sourced only from Henderson County. THe tasting room is open daily. It`s definitely one of the most popular cideries in the WNC area.

Point Lookout Vineyards
Point Lookout Vineyards is atop a delightful slope with 30 miles of spectacular vistas, less than 10 miles from downtown Hendersonville. (and down to road from one of our newest cabins; Mt. Mitchell View House. The vineyard has such a wonderful variety of Meads/Wines. Its also the perfect place for your wedding and reception atop this glorious mountain top. Stop by for a tasting and stay nearby!

Souther Williams Vineyards
Souther Williams, located just outside of Hendersonville, offers breathtaking views of the Hoopers Creek Valley. They offer Eastern European Vinifera and American hybrid wines in their open air pavillion tasting room; sit back and enjoy the scenery as you sip on local wine and maybe even enjoy a picnic!

Wine Sage & Gourmet
Wine Sage & Gourmet is located downtown Hendersonville. Blue Ridge Beer Garden
In what used to be a 1950’s gas station, Blue Ridge Beer Garden is conveniently located close to downtown and offers indoor and outdoor seating. They host lots of fun events including trivia & adult yard games, plus they are the starting off point for HVL Pedal & Pubs, Hendersonville’s pedal pub tour company. With over 25 beers and ciders on tap, there are options for everyone!

Trailside Brewing Company
Trailside is a fantastic place to go after a day out enjoying the Blue Ridge Mountains! Located right off the Ecusta Trail, this brewery offers outdoor firepits and gardens, a variety of local beers, a busy food truck schedule and tons of live music events. Enjoy the history of this converted old factory space and stop by Appalachian Coffee Company and the Ecusta Market which are just next door!
